FIA President Max Mosley will host a press conference today (May 4) to discuss the following proposed changes to F1. Of particular note is that cars would be 2.4l V8's with much more standardised and approved materials. Changes would take place from Jan 2008.

WHAAAAAAAAT?? Oh give me a fu*king break... so, even after cart and irl screwed stuff up by changing standards -- F1 is going to do the same!!?!?? UGH!!!

It's obviously an attempt to save the declining ratings and the fact that a small number of teams are dominating. It looks like it's designed to reward the most talented drivers. But they're pretty radical changes...
